Happy Holidays!
From a first lost tooth to first "Wh" questions, 2011 has been a year of
many precedents. This website was born in April -- after Caroline's
"Journey to Recovery" video brought an unexpected flurry of interest in
her story. And then came all of you... readers from across the world,
many of whom we're now blessed to call friends.
A special thank you also to everyone who's made the Regarding Caroline
Facebook page a place where triumphs are celebrated and challenges,
when combined with outside-the-box thinking, often become distant
memories.
This online community of parents - uniting in an attempt to heal their
children - embodies the magic of the season at it's most basic level. And
luckily, for all of us, the shared hope and support are not limited to any
season, day or hour. Whenever it's needed, there's always someone to
offer a :) a :( or simply (((hugs))).
As the year draws to a close, we're feeling fortunate that Caroline and so
many other children are improving daily. For some of our milestones,
and in lieu of a "holiday letter," please follow along with us on our Game
of Life, Caroline style.
